Gerry Paxton – Chairman
Gerry began his involvement in the security industry in the late 1970s, founding an armoured transport company, moving and valuables throughout the UK. Having built an enviable reputation in that specialist field, he moved on to establish what became one of the Infologue.com Top 20 UK Companies in the Regulated Security Sector 2011. Renowned for service delivery, superb calibre of staff, training and customer service, he decided on early retirement and sold the business to investors. Now working with his established team on this fresh challenge, Gerry brings his same beliefs, ethics and knowledge, to lead Askari Security UK Ltd.
Tom King – Managing Director
Tom came into the security industry in 2002. With a proven track record in developing business and retaining and maintaining contracts, he is dedicated to ensuring excellent levels of service and maintaining enduring customer relationships. Tom believes in liaising closely with clients and keeping in close touch with officers, making sure that requirements and service always mesh smoothly together.
David Barber – Operations Director
David worked in marketing in South Africa before coming to the UK and into the security industry, building his experience from the front line as a security officer, then site manager, chief controller, contract manager, regional director and recently major accounts director. David has a proven record in the start-up and development of contracts in many business sectors and has consulted on strategy and best security practices for several major accounts in London. David’s broad base of experience helps ensure that our service is delivered exactly to the right specification.
Ian Brittain – Commercial Manager
Ian joins Askari as Commercial Manager with 13 years security industry knowledge and experience. During that time he has successfully worked within a variety of business sectors from the public sector to many blue chip organisations, building solid relationships at all levels with his clients, ensuring that the best solution is proposed to them in line with their specific requirements.
